Building Block Labs, LLC knows that you care how information about you is used and shared, and we appreciate your trust that we will do so carefully and sensibly. This notice describes our privacy policy. By using Big Nest (our “App”) or using our services, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
What Personal Information About Customers Does Big Nest Gather?
The information we learn from customers helps us to provide services to you, improve our services, and communicate with you. Here are the types of information we gather.
- Information You Give Us: We require that you provide us with your full legal name and a valid e-mail address when you open an account to use our services (an “Account”). We also receive and store any information you enter in our App when using our services, and use it in order to provide our services to you. You can choose not to provide certain information, but then you might not be able to take advantage of our services. We use the information you provide for such purposes as responding to your requests, providing our services to you, tracking the status of your Account, and communicating with you.
- Automatic Information: Like many Web sites, we may use "cookies," to obtain certain types of information when you access our App. For examples of information we collect automatically, click here.
- Payment Information: When you make a purchase in the app, you provide information to our payments provider, https://stripe.com. We do not collect or store the information you provide to our payments provider. For example, if you provide our payments provider with your credit card information, information you supply is not shared with us, or collected or stored by us. We do not control how our payments provider uses the information you provide – you must consult the provider’s privacy policy for that information.
What About Cookies?
- Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser to enable our systems to recognize your browser and to provide you with personalized services or advertisements, and storage of items identified with your Account between visits.
- The Help portion of the toolbar on most browsers will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, or how to disable cookies altogether. Additionally, you can disable or delete similar data used by browser add-ons, such as Flash cookies, by changing the add-on's settings or visiting the website of its manufacturer. However, because cookies allow you to take advantage of some of Big Nest' essential features, we recommend that you leave them turned on. For instance, if you block or otherwise reject our cookies, you may not be able to fully use any Big Nest services that require you to sign in.

- Protection of Big Nest and Others: We release account and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law; enforce or apply our Terms of Use and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Big Nest, our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction. This does not include selling, renting, sharing, or otherwise disclosing personally identifiable information from customers for commercial purposes in violation of the commitments set forth in this Privacy Notice.
- With Your Consent: When you use certain of our services, we may provide you authenticating information (like a user name or password) that will provide anyone who has the information with access to content that you have made available through our App. When you allow other persons to obtain the authenticating information we have provided to you, you consent to allow those persons to view the content you have made available on our App, and we presume those persons have your consent to do so. Other than as set out above, you will receive notice when information about you might go to third parties, and you will have an opportunity to choose not to share the information.
